With 26 miles of sugar-white sand along the Gulf, visitors to Walton County are drawn to our incredible beaches and turquoise water. It’s along these beaches that families come to make memories and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
Throughout the county, you’ll find a variety of public beach access, private beaches through your rental as well as state parks where you can enjoy a day in the sun. In fact, there are more than 50 beach and bay accesses. Also, everyone can traverse the wet sand area along our entire 26 miles of beach.
Whether a first-time or long-time visitor, we want to make sure you have the information you need to plan your perfect beach stay.

Upon navigating to an area, click on the color-coded beach and surrounding icons to see the full description. Scroll below the map for a full key describing each color and icon.
